What to Wear
Come help us tie the knot in anything from semi-formal to formal attire, Indian or American! We do understand that an outfit depends on the weather as it is an "indoor/outdoor" wedding. Hopefully the CDA is as sunny and beautiful as ever and in that case, dress appropriately as it may be "hot" during the day, but chilly at night since the venue is on the water. Let's leave the Hawaiian shirts and blue jeans behind, but be sure to bring your dancing shoes...and maybe even a swim suit :)
Things to do in Coeur d'Alene
We have listed a few of our favorite things that we like to do when visitng the CDA! These are just a handful of the activities that can be experienced in this lake town. For more ideas, please visit http://www.coeurdalene.org/what-to-do
Walk along the beach/waterfront
Cd'A is a very popular summertime retreat for many people around the northwest. One of the most popular activities in the afternoon on summer days is to walk down the boardwalk along indpendence point to the park that neighbors the resort. The walk includes sand beaches (popular swimming area), elaborate wooden play sets for kids, spectacular scenery and much more. We absolutely recommend taking a short walk down the boardwalk and enjoy some of the views that make this place so special to so many, especially us.

Hudson's Burgers

This may not seem like the most intriguing of activities, but trust us, its the worth it! This small burger joint (for those that have never been) is a family owned "hole in the wall" place which seats about 15 guests at a time, and is probably the most popular place to get lunch in town. There is almost always a line, but the orders are simple: just burgers, no fries and made in front of you when you order it. It's difficult to explain, but if you want a true Cd'A authentic lunch and the highlight of many people's trip, it is definitely worth the wait. We can speak from experience!
"The Shops"

The Shops are a series of small stores attached to the resort concourse. They range from clothing to knick-knacks and can have some wonderful unique North Idaho treasures. These are not only a fun walking and shopping experience, but you get to see some of what Northern Idaho has to offer.
Visit the Resort

If you've never been, and are not staying there, I would say this is a must. The Cd'A resort prides itself on appearance and hospitality, and they simply do a wonderful job. The food there is fantastic at all of the restaurants and the waterfront views are hard to beat.
The city of Cd'A does not have a very large "downtown" area. There are a range of about 6-8 blocks around the resort that have many small stores, restuarants, bars, etc. which are great for getting out and getting some air during the day, or having a drink after a day of exploring. The bars around the area can range widely, so if going out for a drink is your plan, I would recommend the Beacon as it is an easy walk and you can order and pay with an iPod mounted at your table. No waiting for checks, or looking for servers.
Walk down Main St

If you are a golfer, you have probably heard of the resort course. It is famous for the floating green, well respected for its difficulty, and admired for its attention to detail and appearance. Golf is not a cheap round, but if it is something you enjoy, it is hard to find a better place to play in the area.
Golf at the Resort

There are a myriad of trails that very in length, difficulty, and scenery, depending on what suits you best. There are short hikes out to a nearby point on the lake, which requires no more than flip flops, to driving a bit and climbing several hundred vertical feet! See this website for some ideas if the great outdoors is where you like to be http://www.trails.com/activity.aspx?area=13179
Hiking Etc.

The spa is beautiful and, as with everything at the resort, hospitality is the focus. If you find yourself wanting to get away from it all, there is no better place to find some peace. I highly recommend looking at the website for the spa and seeing if you can find some time for yourself during your busy weekend with us. http://www.cdaresort.com/discover/spa
